This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit our website, make a purchase, create an account, subscribe to email or SMS marketing, or otherwise interact with us.
If this Privacy Policy conflicts with our Terms of Service regarding the handling of personal information, this Privacy Policy controls. Visiting our website or making a purchase does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive SMS marketing.

Personal information does not include information that has been anonymized so that it cannot reasonably identify you.
2. Where We Collect Information
We collect personal information:
-
Directly from you, including through purchases, checkout, account registration, signup forms, reviews, and customer-support requests.
-
Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you use our website or interact with our communications.
-
From service providers, including Shopify, payment processors, messaging providers, shipping providers, and analytics services.
-
From partners or other third parties, where permitted by applicable law.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
-
Process payments and fulfill orders.
-
Manage shipping, returns, exchanges, and customer support.
-
Create and maintain customer accounts.
-
Remember preferences and personalize your shopping experience.
-
Send order confirmations and other service-related communications.
-
Send marketing communications in accordance with your preferences and applicable law.
-
Measure campaign performance and improve our products, website, and services.
-
Provide relevant advertising, subject to applicable privacy choices.
-
Detect fraud, protect accounts, and maintain the security of our Services.
-
Maintain consent and unsubscribe records.
-
Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent, or legitimate interests such as operating and securing our business, subject to your rights.
4. Email Marketing
When you subscribe to Daintee House email marketing, we collect your email address, subscription preferences, and information documenting your signup.
Our marketing emails may include new collections, preorder announcements, promotions, restock notices, styling ideas, and other Daintee House news.
We use Shopify Messaging and supporting service providers to manage subscriptions, deliver emails, and evaluate campaign performance. Where enabled, tracking technologies may record email opens, link clicks, delivery results, and unsubscribes.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our marketing emails or by contacting dainteehousela@gmail.com.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not prevent us from sending necessary non-promotional communications, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, or responses to your support requests.
Email and SMS subscriptions are managed separately. Subscribing to email does not automatically subscribe you to SMS marketing.
5. SMS Marketing
Information we collect
When you expressly opt in to SMS marketing through our checkout or other signup forms, we collect your mobile phone number and record your consent. We may also process subscription preferences, signup source, consent timestamps, delivery information, interactions with message links, and opt-out records.
How we use SMS information
We use this information to deliver recurring marketing text messages, including product launches, preorder announcements, promotions, restocks, and other Daintee House updates. Messages may be sent using automated technology.
We also use SMS information to manage subscriptions, provide support, assess campaign performance, prevent misuse, and honor opt-out requests.
Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. Providing a phone number for shipping or order-related purposes does not, by itself, enroll you in SMS marketing.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan.
Unsubscribing and support
You may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link included in our marketing text messages. You may also contact dainteehousela@gmail.com and provide the mobile number you wish to unsubscribe.
Our marketing sender number is not monitored for customer-service conversations. Please direct support questions to dainteehousela@gmail.com.
We honor applicable requests to withdraw SMS consent and may retain limited suppression records to prevent further marketing messages to an opted-out number.
SMS providers and storage
SMS information is stored and processed through our Shopify store, Shopify Messaging, and providers involved in operating and delivering the messaging service. These may include messaging technology providers and telecommunications carriers.
Restrictions on sharing SMS information
Notwithstanding other provisions in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell SMS opt-in data or consent, or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may disclose this information to providers as necessary to operate and deliver our SMS program, manage subscriptions, and honor opt-outs, or when disclosure is legally required. Such operational disclosures do not authorize recipients to use your SMS consent for their own marketing.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, remember preferences, understand website usage, and support advertising and measurement.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any privacy controls offered on our website. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
Where required by law, we obtain consent before using nonessential cookies or similar technologies.

Where we can associate the signal with an account, we apply it as required by law. Other browser “Do Not Track” signals may not be recognized.
7. How We Disclose Personal Information
Subject to the SMS restrictions above, we may disclose personal information:
-
To service providers, including Shopify and providers supporting payments, hosting, analytics, customer service, messaging, fulfillment, and shipping.
-
To advertising and marketing partners, to support advertising and campaign measurement, subject to applicable consent and opt-out rights.
-
At your request or with your consent, including when you use third-party integrations.
-
To affiliates, where necessary for legitimate business operations and permitted by law.
-
For legal and security purposes, including compliance with valid legal requests, fraud prevention, protection of rights, and enforcement of agreements.
-
In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or bankruptcy, subject to applicable law and the protections described in this policy.
Certain disclosures for advertising may constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under applicable privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you can opt out through our privacy choices page.
8. Our Relationship with Shopify
Shopify hosts our store and processes personal information to provide and improve the Services. Information submitted to our store may be shared with Shopify and its service providers, including providers located outside your country.
We also use Shopify enhanced features that may involve information about your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify to support services such as personalization and advertising.
